The Opportunity

The Operations Lead is the on-ground owner of the center responsible for every dimension of its success from farmer onboarding and engagement to agronomic outcomes team management and financial performance.

Level: Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Lead farmer outreach and onboarding for the greenhouse rental model clearly communicating the value proposition and agreement terms.
  

• Drive farmer adoption and maximize greenhouse utilization by mobilizing local farmers and expanding the farmer base.
  

• Build strong relationships with farmer communities acting as the primary point of contact and support.
  

• Coordinate crop planning and performance with the agronomy team ensuring alignment with market demand and seasonal cycles.
  

• Oversee day-to-day center operations including greenhouse maintenance vendor coordination and input procurement.
  

• Lead field teams and manage center performance including rental collections operational tracking and reporting to leadership.
  

• Responsible for managing and driving center-level profitability.

Brings a strong execution mindset builds trusted community relationships and is motivated to create sustainable impact at the grassroots level while managing on-ground agricultural operations.

Must-Haves

• Bachelors/Masters in Agriculture Agricultural Sciences Rural Development or related field.
  

• 24 years experience in agricultural operations rural sales or farmer mobilization.
  

• Ability to work independently in rural settings.
  

• Understanding of farmer communities and local languages.
  

• Basic data recording and reporting skills.
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in greenhouse/protected farming.
  

• Exposure to farmer training or agronomy support.
  

Not a Fit

• Purely desk-based/corporate profiles with no field exposure.
  

• Candidates not willing to work in rural environments.
