ECL is working on behalf of Essex County Council to deliver Connect to Work for people who face additional barriers to employment as part of the Governments new Get Britain Working initiative.
The Connect to Work Employment Consultant will provide end-to-end support for individuals seeking employment including vocational profiling job matching and in-work support. You take a provide person-centred approach to ensure individuals are matched to job roles based on skills and experience.
Youll use your initiative outstanding communication skills and pro-active problem-solving ability to ensure successful employment outcomes are delivered and that contractual targets are met.
About You
To be considered as an Employment Consultant youneed:
A full and valid driving licence with own vehicle to travel
Experience of delivering to an employment service contract
Experience working in a target-driven environment in line with KPIs
To hold or be working towards a Supported Employment Diploma Level 3 (or equivalent)
Experience of directly supporting individuals into employment
Adaptable communication skills to work with both jobseekers and employers
