We are hiring a Staff Nurse for one of the best Nursing Homes in Wexford.
Immediate Service Requirement: This role is open only to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship or have an existing unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
Full- Time Permanent
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality safe and effective nursing care in accordance with NMBI standards.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualised care plans for residents.
- Administer medications safely and accurately in line with organisational policies and guidelines.
- Monitor document and respond promptly to changes in residents clinical conditions.
- Provide leadership support and supervision to care staff during shifts.
- Promote residents independence dignity and overall quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with residents families GPs and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations policies and evidence-based best practices.
- Contribute to a positive person-centred care environment and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Strong clinical knowledge with a commitment to delivering person-centred care.
- Previous experience in the care of older persons.
- Excellent communication organisational and leadership skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Garda vetting and overseas police clearance (where applicable) along with satisfactory professional references.
