Porter | Part-Time | Cross Insurance Arena

An arena Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-presented environment throughout the facility with a focus on offices suites and club areas. Responsibilities include routine cleaning of workspaces premium seating areas restrooms and common areas; trash removal; restocking supplies; and supporting event-related cleaning needs as needed. This role is essential in ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and comfort for guests clients and staff.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.50-$21.50

The Cross Insurance Arena owned by Cumberland County and managed by Oak View Group opened in 1977 and was renovated in 2012 as a 6200-seat venue in Portland Maine. Home to the Maine Mariners (ECHL) the arena hosts top concerts comedy family shows and major sporting events including state basketball and hockey championships. • Clean offices suites club areas and restrooms to a high standard.
• Dust wipe and disinfect surfaces including desks counters and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors in assigned areas.
• Remove trash and recycling; replace liners and maintain waste stations.
• Restock and organize supplies (paper products soap linens hand sanitizers etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of clubs corridors and premium spaces.
• Identify and report maintenance or deep-cleaning needs.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays as needed.
