Job Summary:

LION is seeking a full-time Construction Laborer to join our Operations team. This hands-on role supports skilled tradespeople in the construction of custom Fire Safety Training Trailers and Fire Training Props. The ideal candidate has a foundational knowledge of construction a strong work ethic and the ability to follow direction in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Position Details:

Location: 20 Corporate Circle Albany NY 12203

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.

Starting Rate: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Essential Functions:

Assist skilled tradespeople with carpentry painting plumbing electrical wiring and other general construction tasks
Safely operate hand tools power tools and saws in accordance with common safety practices
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area at all times
Perform general labor tasks to support production schedules and project deadlines

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Required:

High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in construction carpentry or a related trades
General knowledge of construction tasks common tools and tape measure proficiency
Ability to follow verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Willingness to Travel 10%

Preferred but not required:

Familiarity with construction drawings or blueprints
Experience with basic electrical construction
Experience with welding brazing or propane gas piping
