WECO equipment serves several fruit and nut processing sectors: tomato sorting on the harvester walnut and pecan line sorting and drying hops kiln moisture monitoring and small fruit sorting of blueberries cranberries olives coffee cherries and wine grapes.


About the Role:
As the Marketing Communications Specialist you will elevate WECOs brand presence and keep it top-of-mind with customers prospects and industry decision-makers. You will execute multichannel marketing initiativesspanning tradeshows and events digital campaigns website and social media communications and content developmentthat showcase WECOs innovation product leadership and industry value. The role collaborates closely with sales product management and lifecycle services teams to support the companys strategic priorities.

Location:
This role will be based at our California location beginning at our Woodland facility and later relocating to our brandnew headquarters in Davis.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop WECOs marketing communications plan and manage its execution by aligning tools channels and messaging intoactions that achieves revenue and growth goals in targeted markets and regions. Ensure all marketing communications align with corporate brand standards and guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility through industry associationsand trade publications to position WECO as a preferred partner.
  • Oversee the planning budgeting and execution of WECOs annual tradeshow calendarincluding space contracts exhibit logistics booth design coordination collateral development and onsite managementwhile maintaining and cultivating professional relationships with show organizers.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-show marketing campaigns working closely with Corporate and Group marketing leaders to ensure alignment on strategy and messaging.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns by tracking performance metrics and lead generation results to maximize overall ROI.
  • Plan and execute demand-generation and nurture campaigns through WECOs marketing automation platform (Marketo) using targeted emails and digital promotions to generate Marketing Qualified Leads.
  • Manage WECOs WordPress websiteensuring content is current and optimizedsocial media channels bysharing fresh relevant content regularly.
  • Produce marketing collateral including brochures sell-sheets case studies and other marcom assets.

  • A drive for results and values the importance of regularly meeting deadlines for marketing communication deliverables.
  • Well-organized with effective project management skills.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work effectively with the companys Sales and Product Management teams and externally with customers to gather inputs necessary for producing successful marketing messages and communication tools.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing public relations business or other field related to the positions essential duties and responsibilities.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant functional experience is required. Prior experience marketing industrial and technology products and services is desirable but not required.
  • Experience working with Marketo (or similar marketing automation tools) WordPress and Salesforce platforms
  • Solid command of Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Able to travel an estimated 46 times per year for domestic business trips including visits to company offices attendance at trade shows and industry events and customer site visits related to the production of marketing materials.
