About the Team:

Youll join the Administration portfolio within the College of Sport Health and Engineering which supports academic delivery student engagement and College initiatives across a wide range of disciplines.

Within this portfolio the Program Delivery Events and Marketing (PDEM) team coordinates administrative services College events and engagement activities. The team is collaborative practical and focused on delivering well organised outcomes that support both staff and students.

About the Role:

The Administrative Team Leader (Program Delivery Events and Marketing) plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of College events and administrative services.

Reporting to the College Operations Manager youll lead a small team responsible for coordinating events supporting program delivery activities and providing consistent high quality advice and service across the College. The role suits someone who enjoys juggling multiple moving parts staying ahead of deadlines and keeping things running calmly during busy periods.

Youll also look for ways to improve how things are done refining processes strengthening communication and helping the team deliver even better outcomes over time.

Position Key Duties

In this role you will:

  • Plan coordinate and deliver College events and program related activities including Open Day student awards and internal engagement events
  • Lead and support a small team of administrative staff creating a positive and well organised working environment
  • Manage workflows timelines and competing priorities across the PDEM work stream
  • Work closely with academic professional and external stakeholders to ensure events and activities run smoothly
  • Ensure advice communication and administrative support are accurate consistent and timely
  • Apply University policies and procedures in all aspects of work
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery across the team
  • Support effective communication and coordination across the College

Salary:HEP6 $91796 - $% superannuation
Employment Type:Full-time continuing role
Hours: 36.75(1.0) FTE

About You: Manager to provide

You are someone who brings strong analytical capability an eye for detail and a passion for operational improvement. You are someone who can take a high-volume deadline-driven environment and turn it into a streamlined efficient machine.

Youre someone who enjoys organising coordinating and seeing things come together successfully. Youre comfortable managing detail anticipating whats needed and staying calm when things get busy.

Youll bring:

  • Experience leading or coordinating administrative or events based work in a complex environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive solutions focused approach
  • Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Well-developed MS Office skills and should be comfortable learning new systems
  • Sound judgement and the ability to work independently under general direction
  • You value collaboration professionalism and building genuine partnerships.
