Role Overview
We are hiring a Business Development Lead to expand Titans presence in organizations where clients already exist or are likely to exist.
In plain terms: you identify build close & maintain relationships with companies startups universities professional associations and communities that drive new clients to Titan. Whether its driving a deal to make Titan the preferred wealth partner of a mid sized tech company or having our CEO speak at a local business school to teach financial education youll strategize and execute on your top new client this role youll start as the sole member of the team driving impact then within several quarters assuming youre operating successfully youll have the opportunity to scale the team.
This is a full cycle relationship generation role. You focus on opening doors and creating access helping broaden the fly-wheel to expand Titans client base.
What You Will Do
Generate organizational opportunities
Identify and prioritize organizations where Titans clients already exist or may emerge
Develop creative wedges into both obvious and non obvious channels
Build and maintain relationships with decision makers such as HR leaders program directors and community leads
Coordinate access and opportunities for the CEO and Chief Financial Planner to present Titan offerings
Support broader growth efforts
Work alongside marketing to leverage inbound leads and referral channels
Turn organizational relationships into broader awareness and potential client engagement opportunities
Build lightweight repeatable motions to generate organizational opportunities
Define and refine the playbook
Build target lists messaging and outreach from scratch
Test different organizational wedges and double down on what works
Create repeatable channels for growth over time
What We Are Looking For
Hunter mentality
You can get in the room with almost anyone such as corporate HR a university club a startup founder or a community leader and create opportunities from nothing
Full cycle scrappiness
You generate your own pipeline open doors yourself and move fast without relying on others
Proven relationship builder
You have personally established meaningful connections and can maintain them to create access for senior leadership
Comfortable in ambiguity
You have operated at early stage companies where there is no playbook no perfect lists and no handholding because you are the one building it
Builder mindset
You write your own outreach develop your angles and iterate quickly based on what works
Years of experience
5 to 8 years in BD partnerships or sales enough to have real judgment and relationships but still highly execution oriented
Strategic intuition
You can identify not just where clients exist but where they may exist and build channels to reach them before anyone else does
