As a Digital Engagement and Programs Officer (UNESCO Chair) you will:
- Determine manage and operate the UNESCO Chair websites from a technical perspective translating research outcomes into templates design integration points coding applications modules tools and components
- Develop implement and optimise social media channels and content plans such as Facebook Instagram LinkedIn Snapchat Twitter for the UNESCO Chair
- Grow audiences and engagement on social channels through the development and delivery of content to drive traffic to the websites and other relevant digital assets to achieve organisational goals
- Develop and provide the necessary documentation and reporting to support the management and coordination of UNESCO Chair projects
- Liaise with key stakeholders to keep informed and engaged to ensure successful project completion
To be successful youll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Knowledge of the digital media landscape and content requirements for each media channel
- Experience in the application of digital technologies in a research environment
- Experience using WordPress and awareness of WCAG 2.0 standards
- Understanding of website design information architecture and digital marketing
- Experience in project management and/or administration in large complex organisations
