Overview:
ThisManager Faculty Operationssupports the Program Chair (Pre-Licensure) by coordinating and facilitating faculty operations within the assigned Online MSN-Direct Entry program. This role is responsible for ensuring effective teaching and learning environments supporting faculty development and scholarly activities and maintaining high standards of academic and institutional service. The Manager Faculty Operations assists with faculty scheduling onboarding and resource access; tracks professional development and compliance; and serves as a key point of contact for faculty operational needs. By promoting collaboration organization and communication the Manager Faculty Operations helps foster a positive inclusive and efficient academic community. The Manager Faculty Operations reports to the assigned academic Program Chair.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Doctorate in Nursing
  • The Faculty Manager must hold credentials for faculty appointment in the assigned program area.
  • 3 years of experience as a faculty member at an institution of higher education. Online teaching experience preferred.

COMPENSATIONis determined based on the qualifications experience and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program health insurance paid time off and a retirement savings plan with company match. The salary range for this role is $96815 to $130985.

  • Coordinate faculty teaching schedules classroom assignments and coverage for absences.
  • Assistwith faculty onboarding orientation and traininglogistics.
  • Provide guidance to faculty on the use of institutional technology and resources.
  • Assistfaculty in accessing instructional materials technology support and student information systems.
  • Conduct classroom observation process in alignment with university standard operation procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensurepre-term and end-of-term course activities are completed in conjunction with university SOPs.
  • Promote a positive collaborative and inclusive environment among faculty.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

  • Monitor the development and fulfillment of facultydevelopment plans and the completion of aligned development activities.
  • Ensure faculty complete all required development and training.
  • Collaborate with Faculty Development Specialists (FDSs) to coach and develop faculty instructional strategies.
  • Provide support to assigned faculty meetings workshops and development/training activities.
  • Support theDepartment Chair or Program Chairin preparing materials for accreditation regulatory or advisory board meetings.

Academicand Institutional Service

  • Support theDepartment Chair or Program Chairinmonitoringthe fulfillment of faculty performance standards; prepare reports for academic leadership to provide regular updatesofthe achievement of faculty performance standards.
  • Track faculty compliance with institutional policies and deadlines.
  • Monitor faculty engagement/participation in course collaboration faculty assembly and department meetings.
  • Maintainup-to-date faculty contact lists and distribute relevant communications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for facultyregardingoperational questions and routine matters.
  • Facilitate communication between faculty and theDepartment Chair or Program Chair Academic Deanof Online Learning or other departments as needed.
  • Distribute program updates policy changes and event information to faculty.
  • Assistwith preparation and submission of reports related to faculty activities and program operations.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position50% of the time.
  • Must be able to occasionally move around the work location.
  • Constantlyoperatesoffice and/orteachequipment which may include computers copiers fax machines audio/visuals.
  • Frequently uses voice and hearing to communicate with studentsstaffor colleagues face-to-face or over the telephone.
  • Visually or otherwiseidentifyobserveand assess.
  • Occasionally move carry or lift 10 pounds.
