Purpose and Objective:
SAP Global Marketing Inc. seeks a Senior Product Specialist at our Indianapolis IN location to conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer problems market trends and competitive landscape.

Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Business Management or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science Business Management or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
- International software product management;
- Analyzing JIRA Confluence and Slack to help drive team alignment creation of documentation presentations and project sheets for C-Level use;
- Applying LEAN methodologies to track status and scope of projects;
- Competitor and market analysis including total addressable market overview; and
- Performing problem identification leading to product vision strategy breakdown including roadmap creation and prioritization of product backlog.
Experience must also involve two (2) years in the following:
- IP warm up and Mail Transfer Agent Providers;
- Agile product management methodologies;
- Utilizing Marketing Software products to scale SMS sending volume 100% YoY with different integration methods (SMPP vs. HTTP); and
- Transforming from on-premise to cloud native inbound email services.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $127160 - $216128. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $144500 - $245600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education skills experience scope of the role location etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
