0.5 FTE Librarian - Helena Middle School

At Helena Public Schools our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As a Middle School Librarian you will work as part of a team that serves over 7500 students at 14 campuses across Helena. This position serves a 187-day contract. Starting base salary range is prorated based off of $52275- $70833 based on education and verifiable experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave health benefit plan with options for dental and vision coverage life insurance a section 125 plan numerous tax-sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement. • Teach district approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional material.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

Who we are looking for:
To become part of this dedicated team you must have a Montana teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsement.
The ideal candidate will possess multiple endorsement areas and at least a year of successful teaching experience as a Librarian at the middle school level.

While performing the duties of this job the employee will need to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff.
