Position Summary

Assist the shipping and receiving supervisor on one or more projects with the day-to-day administrative operations of a department.

Role Responsibilities

Perform administrative support duties and process documentations as required.
Set-up and maintain all project filing systems including archiving project records.
Generate and distribute available Logs and Reports.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with all customers external and internal.
Maintain payroll for Shipping Receiving.
Submit orders and track inventory/ consumables.
Provide assistance with scheduling shipments and incoming orders.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Receives direct supervision.
Performs technical responsibilities.
Work is generally structured or recurring.
Objectives based on established guidelines processes and operating procedures.
Relevant past experience is not necessarily required.
3 Years of experience in Forklift and Material Handling ideally in heavy steel required.
Experience with All Terrain extended boom and forklift required including Telehandler.

Minimum Physical Requirements and Accountability

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to: stand sit talk hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer telephone and a variety of office equipment.
Occasionally may need to reach stoop or kneel.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
Receives direct supervision.
Performs administrative or technical responsibilities.
Objectives based on established guidelines processes and operating procedures.
Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.
Work is generally structured or recurring.
Previous administrative experience preferred Intimidate computer skills including Microsoft Excel
Entry-level non-exempt positions.
