Role Summary and Impact
This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role for a visionary Media Planning Director LATAM with a genuine passion for the tech industry. You will oversee and orchestrate the entire media planning and activation operation for akey tech client across 14 markets in LATAM.
The primary impact lies in being anoperational architect standardizing routines processes and best practices across the region to ensure consistency and efficiency. You will develop and implement cutting-edge360-degree strategies(ATL Digital e-commerce) build and maintainstrong relationships with senior client stakeholders and lead influence and guidelarge dispersed regional teams.
Your work will focus onsolving complex problemswith clear plans drivingsignificant account growththrough operational excellence and strategic foresight andshaping the future of regional media strategies by leveraging WPPs advanced tools and expertise. This role seeks a strategic doer who isnt afraid to get hands-on for client big bets transforming vision into real measurable impact across the region.
Skills and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Advertising Marketing Communications or a related field.
- Masters degree or relevant certifications a plus.
Professional Experience:
- 8 years of progressive experiencein media planning and buying with a significant focus on digital media.
- At least3 years of proven experience in a leadership role(e.g. Account Director Group Media Director) directly managing client accounts and teams.
- Extensive and demonstrated experience leading and orchestratingmulti-market operations across the LATAM region.
- Proven experience in strategic planning budget management and complex media negotiation particularly at a regional scale.
- Priorregional e-commerce experienceis a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading influencing and developing large multidisciplinary media teams across different geographical locations.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Languages:Advanced proficiency in English (B2 level).
- Strategic Media Expertise:Deep understanding and hands-on experience in developing and executing integrated 360-degree media strategies (ATL & Digital) with a strong regional lens.
- Digital Marketing Acumen:In-depth knowledge of the digital ecosystem including e-commerce platforms digital branding strategies performance marketing (SEM Social Programmatic etc.) and advanced performance metrics.
- Analytics & Tools:Proficiency with media planning tools analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics Adobe Analytics) ad servers and strong data interpretation skills. Google Analytics 4 (GA4) certification is a strong advantage.
