Manufacturing Engineering Technician II

This is a Day Shift position Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

all new products parts and routings into the Business System for manufacturing utilization.

technical leadership resolving manufacturing production floor problems; train supervisors/line leads on new techniques procedures and processes.

facilitate and provide status reports for proto/pilot builds and coordinate their completion throughout manufacturing.

track and control new or revised parts for proto inventory.

manage update and coordinate sustaining Engineering Change Orders.

and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Required Qualifications

Associate technical degree or equivalent experience

Intermediate understanding of Excel

Strong writing documentation and speaking skills

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

Two years Manufacturing Engineering Department experience

Understanding of programming with Visual Basic

Pay Range Data

We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience training knowledge and skills. Pay range for this position is $35.83-$52.94 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by job responsibility and location.
