Job Summary


Job Description:

The NextGen Helpdesk Specialist serves as the first point of contact for technical support related to NextGen and other clinical technology tools. This role resolves user access workflow hardware and application issues; supports onboarding and system changes; and helps maintain reliable secure and user-centered technology services that enable high-quality culturally responsive care across Valle del Sol.


Job Qualifications:

Education


Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • Associates or bachelors degree in information technology health information technology computer systems or a related field.

Experience


Required:

  • Two years of helpdesk desktop support application support or related IT experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting healthcare technology EHR platforms or clinical operations.
  • Experience with NextGen or comparable electronic health record systems.

Licensure/Certification


Preferred:

  • CompTIA A HDI Support Center Analyst or similar technical support certification.


Other Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass pre- and continued employment screenings successfully.
