Description of Work

Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for an Administrative Officer III. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership and administrative management in planning organizing and directing multi-unit psychiatric treatment services for patients and their families on AAU. This position will provide direction and management primarily through a collaborative unit management team structure. This position will also provide administrative supervision to the units management teams as well as provide oversight into management engineering for the units.

Salary Range: $47703 - $83479

  • Thorough knowledge of the principles practices and methods of operation of a public business particularly in financial management and organizational development
  • Knowledge of general governmental accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of accreditation and mental health standards for a psychiatric hospital
  • Knowledge of State Budget and Personnel Policies

This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. The normal working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. some weekends and after-hours support is required; however flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.

CRH is a State-of-the Art psychiatric hospital located in Butner NC. CRH is one of three regional state psychiatric hospitals in North Carolina whose purpose is to diagnose and treat children adolescents and adults with mental illness. Our location is ideal with four seasons mild temperatures and provides an easy commute to the N.C. mountains or beaches. Butner possesses small town charm but is within 30 minutes of a major metropolitan area including Research Triangle Park Raleigh Chapel Hill and Durham NC.     Bachelors degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of experience in personnel budgeting research or administrative management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
