Client Tax Utility Tax Analyst

Deliver precise tax services and robust documentation to maintain regulatory compliance partnering seamlessly with internal / external stakeholders to provide exceptional support and mitigate operational risk.

As a Client Tax Analyst within the Global Tax Operations team you will support relief at source and retrospective tax reclaims across various markets. Your responsibilities will include documenting our accounts with sub-custodians reconciling in-house positions to identify reclaim opportunities filing retrospective reclaims reporting and processing tax refund payments.

Job Responsibilities

Actively support to ensure exceptional service in the areas like Documentation Relief at Source Retrospective reclaims Tax refunds services
Ensure all work is carried out to meet all departmental and market deadlines.
Understand market changes and its impact on internal processes.
Ensure close collaboration with internal / external stakeholders and manage stakeholder relationships.
Analyze support and guidance on outstanding queries to all internal / external partners and businesses.
Maintain Tax records and procedures for internal use to ensure all market and procedural changes are reflected accurately.
Create and maintain comprehensive project and process documentation.
Review operational tax processes to identify areas for enhancement.
Identify risks and solution resolution.
Perform UAT for system enhancements.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Bachelors degree or equivalent is required
• Excellent communication and people skillsandability to be a strong team player and showcase multitasking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and inquisitivedetail oriented committed to consistent work quality with strict deadlines.
• Interest in the nuances of tax regulations and their impact on internal processes and client interactions.

• Broad technical knowledge of International tax laws and regulations.
• Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues.
• Knowledge of low code tools like Alteryx UIPath etc.
