Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Weber Scholars will conduct mentored independent research on themes related to the core mission of the Institute for Freedom and Communityon a public affairs/public policy topic of their choice.
Transferable Skills:
Research and presentations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Participation in the program requires a 40-hour weekly commitment for 10 weeks. Participants are expected to take part in a weekly seminar regular instruction in research methods scheduled research conferences and symposia.

- Acceptance into the Weber Scholars Summer Program
- Ability to take responsibility for projects and communicate effectively with mentor
- Ability to come to work when scheduled and work consistently and efficiently to meet deadlines
