Job Summary
Securities Settlement for Equities Fixed Income (NGN) and Eurobonds
- Monitor settlement instructions received on BaNCS and ensure no instruction is missed.
- Ensure proper matching of instructions received with Counter Party for fixed income and brokers contract notes for Equities.
- Following up with Brokers and/or clients on missing instructions /contract notes
- Sending of non-matching MT548 to swift enabled clients and emails to other clients for trades not matched.
- Monitor settlement instructions received on BaNCS and ensure no instruction is missed
- Loading trades manually on Bancs for non-swift enabled clients.
- Repairing trades that do not come in STP.
- Ensure that MT548 for late and failing trades are sent on Bancs.
- Manually prepare cash projection report for requesting clients.
Qualifications :
- BSc in Economics or related field.
- Relevant Professional certification can be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 2years experience within the corporate financial service sector
- Proficiency in MS Excel package will provide added advantage
