Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the entire recruiting cycle including contacting phone screening scheduling interviewing making candidate offers and ensuring all onboarding is completed.
• Educate applicants on our training for specific positions and coordinate with Safety and Training department to schedule training.
• Works closely and builds strong working relationships with managers and leaders across the organization to understand current and future needs.
• Coordinate with various for-profit and not-for-profit local state and employment agencies.
• Provide weekly status updates and reports about open positions and recruiting activities to managers and leadership.
• Follow up and maintain a relationship with candidates through onboarding training and the first day of employment.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience in high volume recruiting.
• A bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
• Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making is strongly preferred.
• Results-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; excellent problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work activities use time efficiently complete work in a timely accurate and thorough manner and follow up on assignments with a minimum of direction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
• Experience using Microsoft office products and Workday ATS.
• Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel for recruitment meetings college visits and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Experience with Video Meeting Tools such as Teams.
• Experience using Applicant Tracking or HR Systems.
