Location: The Learning Experience Sterling VA
Pay: $17$19 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time MondayFriday 7:30 AM12:30 PM
- Prepare and serve breakfast lunch and snacks according to established menus
- Ensure all meals meet nutritional guidelines for young children
- Maintain awareness of food allergies and dietary restrictions
- Follow proper food handling storage and sanitation procedures
- Keep the kitchen clean organized and compliant with health regulations
- Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Communicate with center leadership regarding kitchen needs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Food handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable organized and able to work independently
