Associate Researcher (Dr Beck's Lab) Neurology

Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Organize manage and analyze MRI data across multiple ongoing clinical studies
- Download and track MRI data following acquisition to ensure accurate data capture
- Execute image processing pipelines and monitor workflow efficiency
- Perform quality control checks on processed imaging data and troubleshoot issues
- Conduct manual adjustments and corrections to imaging outputs as needed
- Perform manual lesion delineation on MRI scans
- Calculate imaging metrics including lesion count lesion volume and brain tissue volumes
- Maintain and update study databases with processed imaging data and derived metrics
- Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate relationships between MRI findings and clinical variables
- Performs other related duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in science or related field preferred or combination of relevant research experience and education
- 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience
- Basic computer programming skills and/or image analysis experience preferred but not required.
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $17.00 - $34.12 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
