Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to clients in Waterford MI. This role involves assisting with daily living activities to help enhance the independence and well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
- Provide mobility assistance and help with transferring or repositioning clients as needed.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients promoting a positive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or home health care is an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently.
- Must pass background checks required by state regulations.
- Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting or assisting clients.
