Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Same Day Care

Compensation:

• Salary exempt
• Eligible for Sign-On/Relocation Bonus (subject to payback clause)
• The standard wage range for this role is $124400-$155500 per year
• It may be possible to earn more over time up to $186600 per year
• Additional pay for working full time and/or working 1 to 4 Saturdays per month

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday shifts
• Occasional Saturdays may be available if interested

Job Summary

Make a difference by providing comprehensive same-day care to diverse and underserved patients who are not able to get a same-day appointment with their primary care provider. Duties also include covering the desktop/inbox for other providers while they are out of the office.

Our medical clinics provide primary & preventive health care to people of all ages. As a medical home were committed to a patient-centered care team model that engages patients & their families in their care.

• Graduation from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program eligible for Washington State licensure
• Be in good standing with the board of licensing in the state(s) where licensed
• Certified in Family Practice through the AANP or ANCC for NPs or certified by the NCCPA for PAs

Preferred Qualifications

• Family Practice experience performing the full scope of adult and pediatric care (including newborns) in an outpatient setting that included same-day appointments
• Experience in a community health center setting or similar role providing care to underserved populations
• Experience working as an independent practitioner with patients who have complex co-morbidities including hypertension diabetes mental illness chronic pain and substance abuse
• Experience with womens health
• Experience working with individuals from diverse cultures backgrounds and socio-economic levels treating them with sensitivity and respect
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Records preferably Epic
