Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in diagnostic imaging and proficient in operating CT equipment while ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Operate CT imaging equipment efficiently and safely
- Administer contrast media as required
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 12:00 PM 8:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography required
- Active New York State Radiography license required
- Certification to administer contrast media required
- Must maintain continuing education credits per ARRT guidelines
- Experience with CT scanners (Apex or similar systems preferred)
