We are seeking an experience Paralegal & Contract Specialist from our Carmel IN office. This role is responsible for reviewing drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts and contractual provisions while providing practical legal guidance to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented analytical and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Review draft and revise a variety of commercial contracts amendments and legal documents.
Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with clients vendors and internal stakeholders.
Identify and assess legal financial and operational risks within contract language.
Advise business leaders on contractual obligations compliance requirements and risk mitigation strategies.
Interpret federal state and local regulations impacting contracts and company operations.
Maintain and update standard contract templates clauses and legal documentation.
Manage contract lifecycle processes including tracking renewals expirations and key deadlines.
Conduct legal and business research to support contract interpretation and decision-making.
Maintain organized contract files and databases; generate reports as needed.
Support the Legal Department with special projects audits dispute resolution preparation and other paralegal duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred; Associates Degree paralegal certificate or equivalent experience considered
13 years of paralegal experience
Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts preferred
Experience interpreting legal regulations and contractual language preferred
Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and internet-based research
Working knowledge of Access Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint preferred
Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management abilities
Results-driven with the ability to make sound decisions with incomplete information
Strong interpersonal skills; professional collaborative and customer-focused
Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
