Project Administrator HS&T

About the Role:

Currently Technica is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as aHS&T Project Administrator in Sudbury. The successful candidate will provide administrative support by working closely with the Health Safety Environment and Training Supervisor in order to assist with department initiatives; input training records coordinate training assist with procedure writing preparing risk assessments participating in incident investigations and other clerical duties such as preparing and editing spreadsheets presentations letters and memos.

The key responsibilities of the HS&T Project Administrator include but are not limited to:

• Assist the site team with procedure writing developing risk assessments investigations and a resource for superintendents
• Manage training coordination update training matrixes schedule site indocs and 3rd party training
• Reviewing and uploading completed training documents
• Deliver Surface Mining Common Core (Uand 532)

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years administrative support experience is an asset
• Post-secondary education in Workplace Safety and Prevention Technician or similar; or a combination of education and experience
• Relevant experience in health safety and training an asset
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
• Ability to take initiative to research and complete tasks with minimal supervision
