Job Title: METRC Compliance Specialist ( Cultivation)

Location:Anaheim
Schedule:Monday - Friday (40 Hours a week)

Pay: $25-$30 /hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented METRC Compliance Specialist to support cultivation operations and ensure accurate tracking and regulatory compliance within METRC. This role is responsible for maintaining precise inventory records monitoring plant tracking activities and supporting the cultivation team with daily METRC reporting and compliance tasks.

The ideal candidate has hands-on METRC experience within a cultivation environment understands regulatory requirements and can maintain organized records in a fast-paced production setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain METRC compliance for cultivation operations

• Perform daily METRC data entry including plant tagging plant movements harvest batches and waste tracking

• Monitor plant lifecycle tracking from propagation through harvest

• Ensure accurate reconciliation of physical inventory with METRC records

• Assist cultivation leadership with batch creation harvest entries and package creation

• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Maintain detailed compliance logs and documentation

• Assist with state regulatory inspections and internal audits

• Support the team in maintaining SOP compliance related to METRC and regulatory reporting

• Train cultivation staff on proper tagging and tracking procedures

Qualifications

• 13 years of METRC experience preferably within cannabis cultivation

• Strong understanding of state cannabis compliance regulations

• Experience with plant tracking harvest tracking and inventory reconciliation

• High level of attention to detail and data accuracy

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and compliance documentation

• Ability to communicate effectively with cultivation teams and management

• Organized and able to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously

• Due to industry requirements candidates must be 21 years or older.
