SHEET METAL WORKER/FABRICATOR - 1ST CLASS

About Our Client

Our clientis a sheet metal manufacturing company that produces roofing and rainwater goods.

About the Role

Due to expanding shifts a role has become availablefor a sheet metal tradespersonin asmall tight-knit metal fabricator will work Monday to Friday with a small team in the factory. The role involves receipting paperwork and manufacturing/fabricating sheet metal goods to order.

• Fabricate weld and produce various rainwater goods (downpipes rainwater headsetc.)
• Light gauge steel fabrication work
• General machine operation

About You

Youreable to work both autonomously and in a team and have a good eye for detail. You haveat least 3 years of experience in a sheet metal factory working on light gauge steel fabrication (stainless steel/aluminium/mild steel/colorbond) and have experience slitting to length able to operate a forklift and variousmachines (Turret punch brake presses folding machines guillotines etc.).

Strong English & mathskillsand the abilityto interpret drawings/3D shapes (tapered flashings) are a must.

• 3 years experience in a sheet metal factory with tradework
• Light gauge steel fabrication experience
• AQF Certificate III (Metal Fabricator) or equivalent qualification preferred

Whats on Offer:

• Permanent full-time role (38 hours per week overtime opportunities)
• $35 - $40 per hour (AUD)
