We are seeking a Large Market Business Development Executive with strong experience in benefits consulting enterprise sales and HR consulting solutions. This hybrid role is based in Irvine Los Angeles or San Francisco CA and focuses on driving new business with large and jumbo enterprise clients (5000 employees / $2B revenue) across health wealth and career solutions.
This is a high-impact sales role for a proven closer who excels at building relationships with senior executives and closing complex high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a pipeline of 4050 large enterprise prospects
- Drive new business acquisition within large and jumbo client accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior HR leaders
- Develop strategic pursuit plans for long-cycle complex sales opportunities
- Lead RFPs proposals negotiations and final contract execution
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored client solutions
- Consistently meet or exceed revenue and sales targets
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree (BA/BS required)
- 10 years of successful experience in benefits consulting or enterprise sales
- Proven track record closing large complex deals (5000 employee organizations)
- Strong experience managing long sales cycles and executive-level engagement
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales quotas with measurable results
- Expertise in group health retirement benefits or HR consulting solutions
- Strong ability to prospect develop pipelines and close strategic accounts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in new logo acquisition and revenue growth in enterprise markets
- Strong C-suite relationship-building and virtual selling skills
- Active professional network in the enterprise or benefits consulting space
- Thought leadership experience (industry events conferences seminars)
- Life & Health insurance knowledge or willingness to obtain in the future
