About the role
As the Injury Management Case Specialist youll provide specialised Work Health Safety (WHS) services focusing on work-related injury management and workers compensation to ensure proper case management. Youll support injured employees in their return-to-work programs and guide managers and business partners on managing on care claims and non-work-related injuries. You will utilise your skills to implement initiatives and programs positively impacting both physical and psychological injury elements within the TAFE NSW WHS management system.
A talent pool list valid for 18months will be created from this recruitment to fill future vacancies.
About you
This role is crucial to our teams success in workplace injury management and recovery. You have proven industry experience in similar role having worked closely with injured workers line management medical providers and internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong interpersonal skills experience building professional relationships and be able to effectively negotiate with and influence stakeholders.
To be considered for this role you must:
- Hold a Certificate IV in a relevant discipline or have equivalent skills knowledge and experience.
- Have completed the SIRA Return to Work Coordinator course.
- Have knowledge of the Workers Compensation Act 1987 and Workplace Injury Management and Compensation Act 1998.
- Hold an unrestricted current NSW Drivers Licence.
