Job Summary
Chubb is currently seeking a Senior Underwriter for the Cyber team in Los Angeles CA. Within this role the Senior Underwriter will be expected to develop and maintain a broad network of brokerage relationships underwrite and service existing renewals and new business and expand distribution and new business. Cross-marketing with otherChubb products and lines of business will be required as well.
Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Underwriting a book of Cyber related products in the Pacific South Regionthat include Cyber and Privacy Liability and Technology Errors & Omissions
- Soliciting new and renewal submissions from brokers
- Determining terms conditions and complex rating plans
- Representing the company at client meetings
- Documenting underwriting files
- Servicing accounts throughout the policy cycle
Qualifications
- Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Cyber and Privacy Liability products and concepts.
- 3 years underwriting experience within Cyber and Tech E&O is preferred.
- Experience developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage relationships negotiation skills business acumen and strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
The pay range for the role is $100000 to $135000. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
