Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Syracuse NY 13210
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
• Days: Monday Friday
• Hours: 4042.5 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide patient-centered care across acute care and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will evaluate patient needs develop treatment plans and support individuals in improving functional independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Administer occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals patients and families to develop care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation records and reports
• Participate in clinical rounds meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and progress
• Maintain therapy equipment and ensure proper use of supplies
• Support and participate in staff education and training programs

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Experience in acute care (non-inpatient rehab) and outpatient settings required
• Ability to pass pre-employment health screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in neurological or concussion outpatient care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
