Engineering & Technology Innovations is seeking a Teardown Engineer to join our Lab Team in St. Louis MO.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate and Mid-Level Teardown Engineer.
In this role you will support all business units by leading and executing complex teardown reverse-engineering and component analysis activities that enable some of the most innovative work in the industry. This challenging position requires creative problem-solving close collaboration with internal and external customers and a high-energy personality to thrive in a fast-paced lab environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead/participate in physical part teardown analysis and cost modeling
- Engage with leaders stakeholders peers and partners to develop collaborative plans and execute on teardown campaigns and associated projects
- Apply an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
- Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces
- Perform various analyses to optimize systems and/or system architecture
- Perform analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Do you have a Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry or other technical degree
- Experience in related engineering fields such as systems or software engineering
- Work schedule flexibility to support international team members
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: structures systems interiors manufacturing avionics
- Cross functional experience working with global partners
- Experience with systems engineering; understanding the cost & design trades and current Boeing efforts in design practices model-based engineering and the digital thread
- Demonstrated ability to plan lead and oversee multiple projects and meet associated deliverable deadlines within assigned budget
- Possess a high-energy self-motivated innovative mindset with execution focus
