Job Summary

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Warehouse Associate position. This role serves as a primary point of contact within the warehouse working collaboratively with multiple departments while also operating independently often. The position is responsible for accepting and recording incoming deliveries to the warehouse. This role will work with all employees to ensure materials equipment and tools are received and tracked efficiently and accurately. Additionally this position will assist with shipping duties for outgoing trucks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily delivery return loading unloading and verification of materials equipment and tools for job sites
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to load unload and transport materials within the warehouse and shipping areas.
  • Organize and maintain secure and effective warehouse storage systems for materials tools and equipment
  • Maintain inspect and monitor fuel/propane supplies for company vehicles forklifts and other equipment
  • Maintain accurate shipping and delivery records including returns dunnage pallets and damage claims report discrepancies or issues to supervision.
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking delivery hours as needed.
  • Oversee daily cleanliness and organization of the warehouse yard and dock areas including trash removal and seasonal snow and ice control.
  • Monitor warehouse safety practices assist with tracking employee safety training and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Secure warehouse buildings doors vehicles and exterior equipment at the end of each workday.
  • Perform general clerical administrative stocking and support duties as assigned.
  • Work professionally with field crews supervisors and office staff
  • Performs all other duties as required or assigned to support the success of the role and the organization.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse logistics construction support or materials handling environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely lift and move materials (up to approximately 75 lbs.) and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations material handling procedures and inventory control.
  • Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain required certifications or permits as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to accurately sort count verify and document materials and shipments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with company standards

The noise level in the field work environment is usually moderate to loud.
