They protect profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks preventingtheft and fraud to ensureproductisavailable for ourguest.They alsobuild relationships inside and outside of Targetincluding store leadersandpublic safety officialsinclusive oflaw enforcement.

• Using surveillance and intelligence-led tactics to keep team members and guests safe and secure while aiding in the reduction of shortage

• UsingTargetsvideo surveillance systemtomonitorguests andidentifypotential theft risks

• ImplementingTargets Assets Protection practices and routines to reduce and prevent shortage

• Properly and effectively documentingcases

• Identifyingstrategic resolutions of external theft and fraud and apprehension

As anAssets Protection Specialistno two daysare ever the same but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:
