We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Third Grade Teacher to join our vibrant faith-filled learning community. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully teaching primary and/or intermediate-grade students and values collaboration with colleagues. This teacher will partner closely with the other third grade teacher to cooperatively plan and implement a dynamic and engaging third grade program.

Position Summary

The Third Grade Teacher is responsible for providing a nurturing faith-centered learning environment that supports the academic social emotional and spiritual development of young learners. The teacher builds on the foundation for literacy numeracy and positive school habits while fostering curiosity independence and a love of learning.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in literacy mathematics science social studies and religion aligned with third grade curriculum standards
• Support the development of students reading comprehension writing and math fluency
• Encourage students problem-solvingcritical thinkingcollaboration inquiry-based learning and study skills
• Teach cursive writing
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and differentiate to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Use formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely grading and documentation
• Monitor and support overall student behavior and classroom culture
• Maintain an organized structured and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with partner teacher colleagues specialists instructional aids and administration
• Evaluates each students progress in academics and social skills and communicates progress to parents through report cards and parent conferences
• Maintains professional competence through continuing education and self-selected professional growth activities.
• Adapts methods and materials to accommodate learning differences and plans for both long-term and short-term instructional goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Education or a related field
• WA state teaching certificate
• Practicing Catholic
• Is proficient with Microsoft Office programs and integrates technology into lessons
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty administration families and parish community
• Strong verbal and written communication classroom management and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting the academic social and spiritual development of students

Salary:
The range for this position is $50666-$80000. This position is full-time. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications.
