About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a Monday to Friday Cleanerto join our Accommodation Services team at ourMoran Sylvania home. Shift allocations are available from 30 to 75 hours.This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety.

We provide a collaborative and enjoyable work environment with modern facilities and the equipment and resources needed to do excel in your role. We also offer aged care focused training to help you succeed in the position.

You will be backed and mentored to ensure you thrive in your role with us. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents enjoyment of their life every day.

Key Duties:

• Clean allocated area that includes bedrooms bathrooms and common areas
• Follow cleaning schedule and complete records
• Replenish supplies and set up cleaning trolleys
• Meet safety quality and hygiene standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control

Skills/Requirements:

• Dedicated to providing a high standard of care and service
• Ability to work in a team and work well with your colleagues
• Valid working visa
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
• Highly organised with strong planning skills
