Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Rochester NY
Shift: Mid Shift 3x12 Hours (03:00 PM 03:00 AM WednesdayFriday)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in a high-acuity setting including stroke and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a wide range of CT studies and comfortable working with advanced imaging equipment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans for a variety of anatomical regions with and without contrast
• Assist with interventional procedures including drains and biopsies
• Prepare and administer contrast media as prescribed
• Start and maintain peripheral IV lines
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols including isolation precautions and PPE
• Operate CT equipment and injectors efficiently and safely
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EMR (Epic) and PACS systems

Equipment & Technology:

• Philips CT equipment
• Medrad injector
• PACS and Epic EMR systems

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• EMR: Epic experience required
• Certifications:
  • ARRT (R) required
  • BLS (AHA) required
• Skills:
  • Adult acute care and outpatient imaging
  • CT scans (abdomen pelvis chest head with/without contrast)
  • Musculoskeletal cervical lumbar and thoracic imaging
  • IV contrast administration and patient preparation
  • Strong knowledge of PACS and CT imaging systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Philips equipment
• Experience with interventional procedures (drains biopsies)
• Familiarity with Siemens and Toshiba systems
