Position summary: Roy Jorgensen is seeking a full-time Collections Specialist responsible for highway accident property damage claims. You will manage accounts by generating subrogation demands monitoring payments and recovering overdue debts to optimize cash clients via phone/email to resolve discrepancies negotiate payment plans and update account records.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to customers via phone email or mail to secure payments
- Negotiate payment arrangements settlements or in some cases initiate legal action
- Maintain detailed accurate records of all contact attempts conversations and transactions
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies payment issues or customer disputes
- Monitor accounts receivable (AR) aging reports generate daily/weekly status reports and identify delinquent accounts
- Generate and send accurate invoices ensuring timely submission of demands
Required Experience/Skills:
- Accounts Receivable collections with private sector
- Auto insurance experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiation and conflict resolution
- Ability to follow up consistently
- Proficiency in general computer skills to include MS Word Excel Outlook Teams
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Customer service-focused approach
- Strong organization and independent work skills
Schedule: Full time Monday Friday
Salary: $25.00- $28.00/hr compensation is depending on candidate experience and certifications.
