Audit Manager

A professional auditing and financial services firm is looking for an experienced Audit Manager with a strong background in planning and reviewing audit files. This role is designed for a candidate who values professional growth offering a long-term opportunity to qualify as a Registered Auditor (RA) within an established and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Planning management and review of audit files.

• Conducting client visits and professional consultations.

• Performing certain accounting work as required.

• Supervising and mentoring junior audit trainees to ensure high-quality work standards.

• Monitoring project timelines and budgets to ensure audit engagements are completed efficiently.

• Evaluating internal controls and identifying potential financial risks for clients.

• Preparing comprehensive audit reports and presenting key findings to senior stakeholders.

• Ensuring all audit documentation complies with the latest legislative and professional standards.

Requirements:

• BAcc or similar qualification

• Completed SAICA articles is a requirement

• Candidates who have already qualified as CA(SA) or AGA(SA) will be preferred

• Bilingual (Afrikaans & English is a requirement)

• Ability to work independently

• Experience with Caseware audit methodology is not a requirement but will strengthen the application
