Sydney $300K OTE High-Growth Tech Platform

Were partnering with a high-growth Australian technology company to hire a Founding Partnerships Sales Executive a pivotal commercial role responsible for building and scaling a new outbound partnerships function.

This is an opportunity to join a business already powering millions of consumer transactions across utilities and financial services with strong product-market fit and clear ambitions to scale significantly over the next 35 years.

This company provides white-label technology infrastructure that enables large consumer-facing organisations such as banks loyalty programs marketplaces and membership groups to offer comparison and switching services to their customers.

With a strong partner network already in place and a growing product suite the business is now investing in a dedicated outbound partnerships function to accelerate growth.

The Opportunity

This is a true 01 role where you will take ownership of building a pipeline securing partnerships and shaping go-to-market strategy.

Youll focus on acquiring organisations with large customer bases and enabling them to monetise those relationships through embedded comparison and switching solutions.

Target partner segments include:

  • Financial institutions
  • Loyalty and rewards programs
  • Real estate and mortgage ecosystems
  • Marketplaces and membership organisations

What Youll Be Doing

  • Build and manage a self-generated pipeline (majority outbound)
  • Identify and close mid-market and enterprise partnerships
  • Sell a revenue-generating partnership solution not just software
  • Engage senior stakeholders including:
    • CEOs
    • Heads of Partnerships
    • Product and Commercial leaders
  • Develop tailored value propositions based on each partners business model and customer base
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful partner launch and early-stage performance
  • Continuously refine and build the partnership playbook

What Success Looks Like

  • Closing a mix of:
    • Enterprise partnerships (large customer bases longer sales cycles)
    • High-volume mid-market partners
  • Generating measurable revenue and transaction volume through partners
  • Building a repeatable pipeline and contributing to the long-term GTM strategy

About You

Youre a commercially minded seller who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from scratch.

You understand how to sell partnerships and revenue opportunities not just products and youre comfortable engaging senior stakeholders in strategic conversations.

Must-Have Requirements

  • 37 years of experience in B2B sales partnerships or platform-based roles
  • Proven ability to close mid-market or enterprise deals
  • Strong experience in outbound pipeline generation
  • Background in startup or scale-up environments
  • Demonstrated ability to sell commercial outcomes and ROI
  • Experience engaging with senior decision-makers
  • Highly self-driven proactive and comfortable working autonomously
  • Strong commercial acumen able to tailor solutions based on partner needs

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Experience selling:
    • Partnerships ecosystems or marketplace solutions
    • White-label or embedded platforms
  • Background in:
    • Fintech or payments
    • Loyalty or rewards programs
    • Comparison or aggregator platforms
  • Experience working with:
    • Financial institutions
    • Property / mortgage ecosystem
    • Membership or distribution-led businesses
  • Exposure to revenue-share or partnership-based deal structures
