Job Summary:Quality Assurance Record Reviewer I is responsible for managing plant records and critical to quality documents. This position performs verification and record review activities that confirm that all quality and efficiency standards are being met. Communication coaching and escalation when deficiencies are identified are required. A driver of Quality Safety and Efficiency within the Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for review of production and quality records containing critical to quality results from Batching Sanitation Processing Filling Downline other as and escalation of non-compliant results and critical documentation and training activities for clerical error correction and upload/scanning to customer as required; including email communication with and reporting of record compliance data KPIsData entry of critical to quality attribute resultsProvide technical support in product recalls / withdrawalsAssists lab techs in situations of obtaining carton resampling as Accountabilities:SafetyFollows all plant safety rulesReports all accidents to the production supervisorServes an active role in the plant safety program by attending safety meetings participating in monthly safety inspections and reporting any potential safety hazards to the safety committee or Production to all Quality Assurance System guidelinesCompliance to all record corrective action SOPs to do required tests necessary for checking products prior to processing after processing and prior to ship outsResponsible for compliance with the HACCP programMust adhere to and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Responsible for accurate documentationHousekeepingMaintain a clean and organized work areaCooperates with other shifts and the management team in housekeeping endeavorsCommunicationsAs a member of the Quality team ensures that effective shift communication and teamwork with the other operators occurs each scheduled shiftMaintains effective communication with members of the support groupTeamwork and TrainingPromotes and contributes to the development of teamwork among production team membersAssist in coaching and training employees as requested by the management teamBetter Process School as required by plant Quality ManagerFood Labeling WorkshopWebinar on Low acid canned foodsFood Safety Essentials ClassesJumo TrainingPersonal DevelopmentKnowledge and understanding of food safety / HACCP GMPs Allergen Controls Sanitary design/controls pest control basic food regulations specifications and basic food Responsibilities:NoneQualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Outstanding verbal written multi-tasking and presentation skills. Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint softwareand be proficient with MS Excel software. Knowledge and Skills:Working knowledge of business computer skills and math. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a team-based environment set priorities to meet deadlines handle multiple tasks and make decisions under pressure.
