Main Responsibilities and Duties in Billing and Invoices

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices for electrical and home automation services

• Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely and precise billing

• Handle billing inquiries and communicate professionally with clients regarding account information

• Record payments adjustments and process collections as needed

• Collaborate with internal departments such as Sales and Service to reconcile accounts

• Maintain up-to-date electronic billing records and documentation within company systems

• Generate regular billing reports for management insight and auditing purposes

• Ensure adherence to company policies privacy regulations and compliance standards

• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency

• Assist with additional finance-related duties and projects as assigned by management

Required Education & Experience for Billing Specialist Jobs

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in accounting finance or business is a plus

• 1 years of experience in billing invoicing accounts receivable or similar financial role

• Familiarity with the home services or technology industry preferred but not required
