IT Operations Specialist

Location: Hybrid - Birkirkara Malta (3 days per week in office).
Reporting to: Information Security Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for SendGrid and our portfolio across various domain registrars. Youll be the person who ensures our emails actually hit the inbox not the spam folder.

• Use Cloudflare as our primary shield and traffic cop. Youll manage DNS records (A CNAME MX) set up WAF rules to block malicious traffic and optimize CDN settings for global performance.

• Act as the glue between our platforms - taking authentication codes from SendGrid and implementing them perfectly within Cloudflare to verify our sender identity.

• Proactively monitor IP and domain health. Youll configure and maintain SPF DKIM and DMARC protocols to prove to providers like Gmail and Outlook that we are legitimate.

• Be the first point of contact for hardware or software issues. Youll alternate with the existing team to ensure local networks VPNs and workstations are running smoothly.

• Secure and centralize our domain portfolio with strong MFA automate renewals so we never go offline and lead the technical onboarding for all new hires.

What You Bring

• Solid experience managing Cloudflare SendGrid and various modern domain registrars. You know how to make these systems talk to each other flawlessly.

• You dont just know what an A-record is; you understand the why behind nameserver routing and propagation.

• Practical knowledge of email authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) and a deep understanding of how to protect brand reputation.

• Comfortable jumping between Windows and macOS environments. Youre just as happy fixing a laptop as you are tuning a Web Application Firewall.

• You can translate complex technical hurdles into clear updates for stakeholders.

• You enjoy being the go-to expert for systems that others find complex and you take pride in keeping the pipes of the business clean and efficient.
