Job Summary

Location: Hybrid - Birkirkara Malta
Reporting to: Co-Founder

What youll do
Strategic People & Culture Leadership
  • Architect the Employee Journey: Design and spearhead the A-to-Z employee experience from building a stellar scalable onboarding program to driving impactful performance management and off-boarding strategies.

  • Oversee HR Operations: Take ultimate ownership of the HR infrastructure. You will establish and oversee the systems for contract management record-keeping and payroll/benefits administration ensuring they are scalable and flawless.

  • Champion the DNA: Act as the chief guardian of the company culture. You will actively design and nurture a high-energy engaging workplace environment that aligns with the strategic vision and ambitious driven DNA.

Compliance Organizational Health & Employee Relations

  • Build the Framework: Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies from scratch. You will ensure bulletproof compliance with Maltese labor laws while designing frameworks that enable rather than slow down our business momentum.

  • Executive Partner & Coach: Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team and the ultimate sounding board for all complex employee matters. You will coach senior leaders and line managers handling employee relations with fairness consistency and executive maturity.

Workplace Strategy Experience & Safety

  • Direct the Hubs Vision: Set the strategy for the Malta office experience. While overseeing the day-to-day magic you will manage high-level vendor relationships optimize facility budgets and ensure a seamless tech and swag experience for new hires.

  • Drive Engagement: Champion the internal communications and engagement strategy. You will oversee the planning of milestone celebrations company-wide events and gatherings that forge strong cross-functional team bonds.

  • Champion Health & Safety: Direct the physical safety and wellness strategy. You will oversee risk assessments ensure top-tier compliance with essential safety training and design ongoing wellness initiatives that keep our workforce healthy and thriving.

What you Bring
  • You have a solid track record in a Head of HR role within a hyper-growth environment.

  • You have a deep practical understanding of Maltese employment law and know how to build compliant frameworks that dont stifle innovation.

  • You anticipate what the business needs before you are asked taking initiative to manage HR processes end-to-end with minimal guidance.

  • Commercially aware and incredibly organized you thrive on bringing structure to chaos. You are solutions-focused detail-oriented and effortlessly juggle multiple priorities while building scalable processes from scratch.

  • You have the ability - and the drive - to build and lead a high-performing People team when the business requires it.

  • You express ideas clearly and confidently and build genuine relationships effortlessly. Fluency in English is a must; Maltese is a fantastic bonus.
