Senior Business Development Manager

Our client is a business advisory firm who has recently seen an increased demand from Asia specifically China. Having recognized this business opportunity they would like to engage a Senior Business Development Manager to manage current demands and grow their Asian portfolio.

You will report directly to the Management Team and will have one direct report initially with an intention to grow the team as demand increases.
The role pays up to 55K basic starting salary with an expected 70K if you meet your KPIs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide business advisory services to HNW individuals families and corporate clients

• Drive growth across Asia with a focus on the Chinese and Turkish markets

• Lead marketing initiatives targeting Mandarin- and Turkish-speakers

• Identify and pursue growth opportunities partnerships and market entry strategies

• Represent the company in person at high-end events and conferences

• Travel extensively to attend client meetings throughout Asia

Education Skills & Experience

• Educated to Post-Grad level

• Commercially-minded with strong business acumen

• Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken

• Fluent in Mandarin both written and spoken

• Fluent in Turkish would be ideal but is not a requirement

• Experience of working with private advisory firm or corporate service provider

• Experience of advising foreign nationals on immigration issues in Malta

• Experience of advising companies on the benefits of having Maltese entities

• Exceptional interpersonal presentation & negotiation skills

• Able to travel internationally to represent the company
