Senior Client Accountant

An established CSP company based in Sliema Malta is currently looking for a Senior Client Accountant (Full-time or Part-time) to join their this role you will be providing efficient and high-quality service to a portfolio of clients.

This is a hybrid role with flexible hours offering a salary of up to 50K (pro-rata if part-time).

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and assist with their accounts management accounts as well as tax refund-related issues

• Prepare and submit VAT and tax returns as well as payroll reports

• Prepare payment instructions

• Collaborate with internal auditors

• Assist the Fiscal Unit and prepare documents and reports

• Support liquidation processes including preparation of supporting documents and coordination with relevant authorities

Education Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant or currently within one year of ACCA completion

• 3 years of experience as an accountant in Malta non-negotiable

• Fluency in English at a C2 level both written and spoken

• Fluency in Italian is a plus

• Proven experience in Maltese VAT and tax law

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience working with QuickBooks is a plus

• Organised with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Analytical with multitasking skills
