HR Business Partner

This is not a sit back and maintain HR role. We have a beautiful office in the center of Amsterdam. While we support flexible working we follow a hybrid way of working where many of us work partly from home and partly from the office. For this role we expect you to be present in the office around two days per week to stay closely connected with the teams. At the same time we love bringing our teams together by organizing company events and team activities where we exchange ideas build friendships and celebrate successes.


What this HRBP role looks like
Youll work closely with managers across the organization supporting them in building strong high-performing teams and acting as a trusted partner on all people topics.

In this role you translate people strategy into practical processes set up frameworks and structure HR initiatives that scale with the business. Youll drive projects from idea to impact implement development paths and continuously improve HR operations.

• Coaching and guiding managers in strengthening their people management and leadership capabilities.

• Translating people strategy into practical HR frameworks tools and processes that help managers and teams succeed.

• Taking ownership of HR initiatives and projects from idea to implementation by using people data and insights that improve engagement performance and retention.

• Supporting the development and implementation of learning and development paths across the organization helping employees grow and develop within Virtuagym.

• Contributing to the development and improvement of people management processes such as performance management development planning and employee engagement initiatives.

• Exploring opportunities to implement AI and modern HR technology that help scale our People operations and improve efficiency.

What you will bring to the People Team

• 25 years of experience in an HR advisory or HR Business Partner role.

• Proficiency in Dutch (must-have).

• Experience supporting managers on topics such as employee engagement performance management change management and organizational development.

• Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic or scale-up environment.

• A hands-on mindset: you enjoy building structures improving processes and turning ideas into action.

• Interest in using data and insights to strengthen HR practices and support business decisions.

• Curiosity about AI and modern HR tools that help improve and scale HR processes.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Dutch labour law and HR compliance requirements.

• Ability to build trust and credibility with managers and employees across the organization.
